
While in a call, press Hold or press the hold button. Your Zoom contacts will be able to see that you're in a call. While in a call, your in-call status will be synced with the Zoom desktop client and mobile app. Note: The Zoom desktop client and mobile app display more detailed incoming call notifications so you can identify calls to a direct number or another U-M number. The call notification on Poly phones appear the same regardless of whether the call was routed through your direct phone number or another U-M number (e.g., department main number). During an incoming call, you will see a call notification with the caller ID name and number. When a call is answered: Hold, End Call, Transfer, More, Conference, Park, Lines, and Transfer to VoiceMail display. If you press More, Reject and Forward display. When receiving a call: Answer, Silence, New Call, or More. When receiving and answering a call, the display changes to offer appropriate options.
Note: Specific headsets have not yet been validated for use with Zoom Phone desksets. There is a three-second pause before it dials a 5-digit number.
To make a call, you can enter a 10-digit number, a 5-digit on-campus number, or a 3-digit emergency number.There are four ways to make a call: the speakerphone, button, the headset button, the New Call soft key, or pick up the handset.
